Physiotherapy at home and in the clinic

I work with people living with neurological conditions, people recovering from surgery, older adults who want to stay strong and steady on their feet, and anyone whose pain has been around too long. Most of my work happens in people's homes across the Sunshine Coast. On Mondays I'm at the clinic in Peregian Beach.

The Full Picture Assessment

Sixty minutes, at home or in the clinic. It's the first appointment for every new client, whatever brings you in.

  1. 1Your story. What has happened, what is hard now, and what you want to get back to.
  2. 2A full physiotherapy examination. Strength, movement and joints.
  3. 3Detailed testing of sensation, joint position sense, balance and movement control.
  4. 4Everyday movement. Walking, getting up and down, and stairs, in your own setting when we're at your home.
  5. 5What I found, in plain English, and a written plan to take away.

After the assessment

Most people go on to regular follow-up sessions. How many depends on what I find and on your goals, and you'll always know the plan and the reason for it.

If you're funded through Support at Home or the NDIS, I send a report to your provider or support coordinator. With your permission, I'll also keep your GP up to date.

Balance and falls

Strength and balance work for people who feel unsteady or have had a fall, with practical changes at home that make moving around easier.
