Referring a client to Drop By Physio
For GPs, support coordinators, Support at Home providers and case managers. I see clients at home across the Sunshine Coast and up to Gympie, and on Mondays at the clinic in Peregian Beach. I contact your client within one business day of receiving a referral.
Who I see
Clients I can help
- Neurological conditions: stroke, Parkinson's, multiple sclerosis, neuropathy and balance disorders.
- Falls and mobility: older adults who are unsteady, have fallen or are losing confidence at home.
- After surgery: hip and knee replacements, shoulder and spinal surgery.
- Long-standing pain: back, neck and joint pain.
- Equipment: assistive technology assessments and recommendations.
What you can expect
How I work with you
- I contact your client within one business day of receiving the referral.
- A 60-minute first assessment, usually in the client's home.
- A written report after the assessment, then progress reports at intervals we agree.
- Plain-English reports with clear recommendations, and the clinical detail when you ask for it.

Support at Home
I work as a contractor to Support at Home providers and bill the provider. If your organisation doesn't have an agreement with me yet, I'm happy to set one up.
NDIS
Self-managed and plan-managed participants only. I'm not a registered NDIS provider, so I can't accept NDIA-managed participants. A service agreement is in place before we start.
Medicare
A referral letter under a GP chronic condition management plan. Referrals under an existing GP Management Plan are still accepted.
Private
Self-funded clients are welcome, with or without a referral.
